How does your home make you feel?

Our homes are an essential part of our wellbeing. How does your home make you feel?

I’m Julie Longhurst, a Toronto Interior Designer. I believe that our homes should reflect our passions and inspire our daily lives. I plan spaces with your personal style, needs and budget in mind, but my services go beyond the practical to truly complement your life.

I turn houses into forever homes and deliver experiences that exceed my clients' expectations.

I design rooms or whole homes and project manage major renovations as well as brand-new builds.

You can be a part of the process or be totally hands-off, secure in the knowledge that your new space will fulfill your needs without breaking your budget.

Hiring a designer doesn’t have to cost a fortune and can actually save you money, while adding value to your home.

All of my spaces are stylish, organized and comfortable. Plus, I love to inject each room with personalized details that delight both clients and their guests.

My Biography

Each step in my career has informed my love of design, innate sense of style and deep understanding of what makes people fall in love with a home. I started my career in Toronto’s Avenue Rd. and Davenport design district. A sales position evolved into an exciting role as Buyer, Art Director and Retail Operations Manager for Marci Lipman Graphics, a thriving art, design and home goods business during the '80s and '90s.

During this time, I began purchasing Canadian art and have amassed an impressive collection. A collection which my design clients often have the opportunity to shop for their own homes.

As Editor and Director of Research for Canada's Golf Rankings magazine, I travelled across the country while soaking up the inspiring interiors of some of our best hotels. As an experienced stager, real estate sales representative and renovation project manager, I understand not only what makes a space beautiful but also what increases property value.

My design work has been featured in the National Post, as Toronto Life’sHome of the Week, on ET Canada and as a Dream Home for HGTV’s Property Brothers.
