About Julie Longhurst

Julie Longhurst, Toronto Interior Designer

I’m Julie, a Toronto-based Interior designer. My career in design began in the late ’80s and I started my own business in 2005. I know firsthand how intimidating home design and renovation projects can seem. The number of decisions to be made is overwhelming and the options to choose from, dizzying. Luckily, I have project managed many renovations and designed even more rooms and homes—including my own. So, I now know exactly how to distill the design process, while sourcing decor that will perfectly fit your style and budget and I share that knowledge with each and every client.

Testimonials

“Julie transformed my home from a bland bachelor pad into a chic and comfortable abode. I only wish I’d met her sooner instead of waiting to sell my home. Frankly, I’d have been pretty thrilled to get my asking price. Selling the home for an extra 30% blew me away. Julie really has an impeccable eye for colour and detail. She and her team were a pleasure to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the results.”

“Julie has been our designer for the past 10 years. During that time she has worked her magic in three of our family’s properties. From staging our first home and setting a new sales record on our street, to doing the interior design for our father’s condo, to guiding us through the (ongoing) decor process of our dream home. She has consistently amazed us with her taste and ability to create a high end, unique style statement while respecting our budget.”

“We hired Julie and her team to prepare our Rosedale home for sale. She wisely convinced us to redesign the home before staging it. She project managed a new bathroom and kitchen makeover within a very tight timeframe. We opened a wall between the kitchen and dining room and even had a number of pieces reupholstered. And we had a very successful sale! We’ve already hired Julie to design our new condo in Yorkville and can’t wait to see what she comes up with.”
